The Temple Chamber of Commerce leadership is excited to announce the promotion of Kaylee Blumenfeld, M.S.M. Blumenfeld assumes the role of Director of Signature Initiatives, following her accomplishments as Event & Digital Sales Coordinator. “I’m pleased to announce Kaylee’s promotion to the position of Director of Signature Initiatives for the Temple Chamber of Commerce,” said Rod Henry, President, and CEO of the Temple Chamber of Commerce. “She has demonstrated a level of excellence in event execution, service to the membership and community, and is an asset to the Chamber team.” Blumenfeld has worked for the Temple Chamber of Commerce for four years. She began as the Communications & Marketing Intern while completing her undergraduate degree at the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor. Upon her graduation in 2018, she joined the staff of the Temple Chamber full-time as the Event Coordinator. In her new role, Blumenfeld will continue to build upon and enhance event strategy and execution for all Chamber events. She will also focus on developing and implementing initiatives with the leadership of the Chamber to fulfill the organization's mission to advocate for the community by preserving, protecting, and promoting a business-friendly environment. “In the past four years, it has been wonderful to see Kaylee’s professional growth,” stated Whitney Theriot, Vice President of the Temple Chamber of Commerce. “She is an invaluable team member and has been a player in our rebranding in 2018 as an Intern, helping navigate the highs and lows of the Pandemic shifting from in-person to meaningful virtual events, to emerging into the ‘new norm’ overseeing complete overhauls of in-person events for community health and a valuable experience to our membership and community.” In addition to duties in event management, Blumenfeld supports communication and marketing efforts and is the staff liaison for the Military Relations Council and the Spirit of Santa Fe Trail. Most recently, in the Spring of 2022, Kaylee completed her Master of Management at the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor.
