As a Chamber Ambassador, Matt plays an essential role in fostering connections among local businesses and welcoming new members with his ever-present smile. His dedication to the Temple Chamber is unwavering, whether he's catching up with fellow ambassadors or ensuring everyone feels included at events. His presence is not only valued, but vital—Chamber events just wouldn’t be the same without his vibrant spirit.

Matt’s deep ties to the community extend far beyond his professional role. A graduate of Mumford High School, where he was salutatorian, Matt went on to earn an associate degree from Temple College. After moving to Temple about 15 years ago, he quickly fell in love with the area and its people, making it his mission to give back in any way possible. Over the years, he has served as a committee chair within the Chamber and currently works as an Administrative Coordinator at MEP Electric.

Outside of work, Matt enjoys the simple pleasures in life: reading, sipping a chilled glass of Pinot Grigio, and caring for his two beloved cats, Laverne and Shirley. His warmth and humor have made him a cherished figure in both his professional and personal circles.

One of Matt’s most impactful contributions came in the wake of the devastating tornado that struck Temple in May 2024. As the community reeled from the destruction, Matt stepped up to lead efforts in gathering supplies and donations for those affected. His leadership and compassion helped provide relief to hundreds of families, reinforcing his reputation as someone who can always be counted on in times of need.

Since 2012, Kenny has served as an Ambassador for the Temple Chamber of Commerce, where his presence is marked by an unwavering positive spirit and a genuine warmth that endears him to everyone he meets. Despite being soft-spoken, Kenny has a knack for making people laugh, and is rarely seen without a big smile on his face.

Clad in his signature blue coat, Kenny is a familiar sight at ribbon cuttings and other Chamber Signature Initiative events. His dedication and enthusiasm make him a true Champion for the Chamber of Commerce, and he wholeheartedly believes in the value of fostering connections and supporting local businesses.

A proud graduate of Temple High School's Class of 1987, Kenny has been a fixture in the hospitality industry for many years. His journey with Marriott began in 2006 at the Fairfield Inn Marriott in Temple, where he worked until 2010. Since 2011, he has been a vital part of the team at the Residence Inn Marriott in Temple, currently covering sales for both the Temple and Killeen locations. Kenny's professional commitment is matched only by his dedication to his community, making him a beloved figure in both spheres.

Outside of work, Kenny is all about family, friends, and fun. He cherishes the relationships he's built over the years, especially with fellow Chamber of Commerce Ambassadors and staff who have now retired. This close-knit group meets monthly to share drinks and stories, maintaining the bonds formed during their time as Red Carpet Ambassadors.

Kenny's zest for life extends beyond his professional and social circles. He is an avid participant in Obstacle Course Racing, a passion ignited by his good friend Josh Champ, a former Red Carpet Ambassador. Since 2017, Kenny and a group of friends have trained together, completing three Spartan Trifectas from 2017 to 2019. This adventurous spirit also leads Kenny on spontaneous weekend getaways to San Antonio or Dallas, accompanied by a few close friends who share his love for travel and exploration.

Stacy McGinnis has been a radiant addition to the Ambassadors of the Temple Chamber, bringing joy and laughter to every event she attends. Known for her infectious smile and straightforward humor, Stacy has a unique ability to keep the Ambassadors entertained and uplifted. She is easily recognizable in her signature blue coat worn over stylish dresses, exuding a youthful and glowing presence, with her natural curls adding to her unmistakable charm.

Balancing her responsibilities at the Temple Chamber with her demanding role at Extraco Banks, Stacy's dedication is commendable. As the Branch Manager at the Downtown Temple location, she has climbed the career ladder through hard work and determination. Stacy's journey at Extraco Banks began 12 years ago as a Relationship Banker. Her talent and commitment quickly propelled her to the roles of Senior Relationship Banker, Supervisor, and eventually, Branch Manager. Reflecting on her career, Stacy states, "At Extraco, we build people, businesses, and communities with creative and innovative excellence."

Originally from Germany, Stacy moved to Colorado Springs as a child and found her way to Texas 13 years ago. Outside of her professional life, Stacy is a devoted mother to her two teenage daughters. She enjoys spending her free time gardening or powerlifting, demonstrating her dynamic and multifaceted nature.

Although Stacy's demanding job prevents her from attending many ribbon cuttings, she prioritizes volunteering at the Chamber's Signature Initiative events. Her commitment to the community is unwavering, often spending hours on her feet, assisting with event setup, and greeting guests with her characteristic bright smile. Stacy's exceptional communication skills and encouraging spirit make her a beloved figure in the Temple Chamber community.
