The Temple Chamber is excited to welcome Regina Tavernier to their team as the Accounting Specialist. She is responsible for maintaining and performing all financial management and administration of the Chamber.

“I am thrilled that Regina has come on board with the Temple Chamber as our new Accounting Specialist,” noted Rod Henry, Temple Chamber President.

Before joining the Temple Chamber, she worked in the accounting department at King’s Daughters Clinic for 13 years. She volunteered with St. Mary’s Catholic School & Church, was a leader of the American Heritage Girls for seven years and is a former member of the Rotary Club of Temple. Regina also has experience in office administration, wholesale buying & sales, and brings international flavor to the organization.

“With Regina, a part of the team, benefiting from her community involvement and years of accounting industry experience, this organization will rise to new levels of efficiency,” continued Rod Henry.

A native of Germany, Regina came to Temple, Texas by way of Fort Hood in 1999. Her husband, Anthony, served 20 years in the U.S. Army before retiring. Regina is the mother of Alina, a student at Lake Belton High School. She enjoys taking her dog Lacy for walks, watching Alina play basketball and soccer, traveling, and being active.

In January, several hundred consumer electronics dealers assembled in Miami, Florida, for the 2022 Authorized Integrators Network (AiN) Group Live & Learn Conference.

The AiN Group is the leading organization of consumer electronics dealers. It is built by and made up of consumer electronics dealers serving the residential and commercial building industries. They give dealers who qualify to join superior buying power from their manufacturing partnership of well-recognized brands, bottom-line improvements from their outstanding lineup of service partners, continuing education offerings, and marketing support.

Temple, TX-based company InHouse Systems attended the four-day conference, January 26-29, 2022, at the Loews Miami Beach Hotel on South Beach in Miami.

During the conference, those in attendance exchanged strategies, were encouraged by motivational speakers and enjoyed a keynote presentation from the subject of Steven Spielberg’s 2002 film Catch Me If You Can, renowned cybersecurity and fraud prevention expert Frank Abagnale.

The 2022 AiN Group Live & Learn Conference ended with the Dealer Awards Gala where InHouse System was named 2021 Security Dealer of the Year.

Congratulations to InHouse Systems for their hard work and accomplishment!

Claire Jones is from a small town in Texas, called Graham. She is a current student at the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor (UMHB) where she is classified as a junior and is studying Public Relations and Business. Claire is the daughter of Steve and Kristi Jones. When she’s not diving into work at the Chamber or studying at various coffee shops, you can find her walking her dog, cheering on Crusader football, or working out and coaching at Crossfit Centex. She also enjoys going to the lake, snow skiing, hiking, and photography.

Claire decided to major in Public Relations after a Type One Diabetes diagnosis in 2011. Through her diagnosis she found a love for writing, public speaking, and standing up for what truly matters. After graduation she hopes to find a company or organization for which she is passionate in, and help with social media, event planning, and connections. Long-term Claire would like to open her own non-profit to inspire those with difficulties that they are more than just their title. She fully believes that our labels do not limit us. Claire is excited to be interning with the Temple Chamber of Commerce this semester!
