Cadence Bank, the Bell County Expo, and the community recently celebrated Cadence Bank as the new name-in-title sponsor of the arena and Expo Center located in Belton, Texas.
The Bell County Commissioners Court approved the 10-year naming contract on May 8, 2023. The transition to the new name of Cadence Bank Center is complete with signage changes to the facility and a ribbon cutting celebration held September 26, 2023.
A statement from Cadence Bank noted that this sponsorship exemplifies their commitment to community development, economic growth, and fostering unforgettable experiences at the expo center for residents and visitors alike.
"This collaboration is about more than just a name; it is a celebration of the community's collective achievements and aspirations. As a trusted institution rooted in this community, we are thrilled to be an integral part of this transformative endeavor,” said Dan Rollins, chairman and CEO at Cadence Bank.
“We look forward to working hand in hand with the county and its residents, forging a legacy of exceptional experiences that will resonate for generations to come."
The Bell County Expo Center is a public venue in Central Texas, with several facilities including an 8,000-seat arena. The center opened in 1987 and hosts a wide variety of events, including fairs and carnivals, rodeos, concerts, local high school graduations, banquets, livestock shows, and various conventions.
“Venue sponsorships are a big part of how we generate revenue. Naming rights are always a huge achievement in our industry. The fact that a corporation of Cadence Bank’s stature would want to put their name on our arena because of the exposure we bring is a complement to our success,” said Tim Stephens, Executive Director of the Cadence Bank Center.
“We are delighted to have this new sponsorship with Cadence Bank and…we will proudly wear the name of Cadence Bank Center as we continue to bring events to Bell County that enhance the quality of life and economic impact in the area.”
The naming rights agreement symbolizes a profound investment in the county's economic vitality between Cadence Bank and the Expo Center. The commitment to innovation will ensure that these venues remain at the forefront of the industry, attracting premier events and driving tourism, business, and local pride.
