Tiffany Marek is not just a well-known figure in the Temple-Belton area; she's a positive force of energy for the Temple Chamber of Commerce, radiating warmth, humor, and support for local businesses. With a knack for marketing and advertising sales, coupled with her genuine love for her community, Tiffany embodies the spirit of service and camaraderie.
Tiffany's roots run deep in the heart of Central Texas, as a Tem-Bel native and a 2002 Belton High graduate. Currently serving as an Account Executive at Lamar Advertising, Tiffany's expertise in the realm of billboards has positioned her as a go-to resource for businesses seeking effective marketing solutions. Prior to her role at Lamar, Tiffany worked as a stainless buyer and supplier, catering to customers across the United States. Outside of her professional commitments, you can find Tiffany teaching ashtanga, hot and trapeze yoga throughout Central Texas, shopping with her daughter, watching the middle child play baseball, playing dinosaurs with the baby or at a Texas Rangers baseball game with her husband. Since 2016, she has been an active Ambassador for the Temple Chamber of Commerce, where her infectious humor and welcoming demeanor have endeared her to both new and steadfast members alike. Whether she's cracking jokes or asking a friend how she can pray for them, Tiffany's presence adds a special charm to Chamber events and gatherings. Reflecting on her involvement with the Chamber of Commerce, Tiffany speaks with conviction and gratitude. “The Chamber of Commerce is unequivocally dedicated to supporting and encouraging community growth and sustainability for small businesses within the community with honor and integrity. It is both an honor and a privilege to aid in facilitating the growth and development for businesses and organizations in our community. I get to assist new members in navigating through their first year as a Chamber member and present to them the many resources offered with their membership. The Chamber gets my time both working, attending, and promoting events, services, and memberships and in turn I get to build, grow, manage, maintain, and nurture the relationships that I might not have had without the opportunity to be an Ambassador.” For Tiffany, being an Ambassador isn't just about attending events or promoting memberships; it's about forging meaningful connections and nurturing relationships that enrich the fabric of Temple's business community. Through her dedication and passion, Tiffany Marek continues to leave an undeniable mark on Temple, embodying the values of service and community spirit.

Dave Hedge may not have originally hailed from Temple, but his presence in the community is already deeply ingrained. With unwavering dedication to his role as General Manager for the Temple Daily Telegram, tdtnews.com, Fort Cavazos Sentinel, Tex Appeal Magazine, and Central Texas Tickets.com, Dave's passion for Temple is unmistakable. Not only does Dave excel in his newspaper career, but he is an invaluable Ambassador for the Temple Chamber of Commerce. Having served as Ambassador Chairman well beyond his designated term, Dave has presented dozens of certificates to businesses and emceed countless Chamber events. Currently, he serves as the Treasurer on the Chamber Board of Directors, contributing his expertise to the organization's financial management.
During his tenure as Chairman, Dave provided invaluable guidance to the Ambassadors, helping establishing guidelines, and running quarterly meetings. Known for his affable nature and quick wit, Dave effortlessly puts people at ease with his humorous banter, all while maintaining a professional demeanor. Whether cracking jokes or offering sincere advice, Dave's reliability and approachability are unwavering, both within the Chamber and beyond. Originally from Jeffersonville, Indiana, Dave swiftly made his way to Texas, and he loves to say he “got here as soon as possible!”. He obtained his undergraduate degree from Indiana University in Bloomington and later earned a Master’s in Business Administration from Mercer University in Macon, Georgia. Dave's journey in the newspaper industry began early, starting at his local daily paper during high school and continuing through various media companies across multiple states. Reflecting on his career choice, Dave often quotes, "Good newspapers make good communities," highlighting the vital role of journalism in fostering strong communities. This sentiment resonates with his involvement in the Temple Chamber of Commerce, which he says is “the interconnective tissue of the business community and like the newspaper can act as “the voice” for local business and industry.” Married to Nell Lang Hedge, also a native of Indiana, Dave found love amidst the bustling atmosphere of a Bloomington Chamber of Commerce event – a testament to the value of connections forged through Chamber involvement. Nell works for Architectural Plan Review, a locally owned company founded by Temple High graduates, A’lisa and Robbie Ozment. Together, Dave and Nell are proud parents to two sons, Cooper and Riley, both alumni of Wylie High School in Abilene and the University of Oklahoma. Despite Dave's allegiance to the Sooners, he humorously acknowledges and apologizes to his Temple friends who are Aggie or Longhorn fans, quipping, "Your loyalty follows your money... Boomer Sooner!" Temple owes a debt of gratitude to Dave Hedge for his unwavering commitment to the Chamber of Commerce, both as an Ambassador and as a member of the Board of Directors. His dedication exemplifies the spirit of community service and reinforces the Chamber's pivotal role in advocating for a thriving local economy. Beyond his contributions to the Chamber, Trevor is deeply involved in various aspects of his personal and professional life. He has been happily married to his wife, Paige, for 3.5 years. In his leisure time, Trevor enjoys a myriad of activities, including hunting, fishing, golfing, traveling with his wife, working on his family's farm, and cheering at Texas A&M sporting events, particularly football games. Originally hailing from Zabcikville, Texas, Trevor is a proud graduate of Texas A&M University in College Station. After completing his education, he returned to Temple in search of career opportunities and found his calling at Express Employment Professionals, a locally owned and operated workforce management company with over 36 years of history in Central Texas. Joining Express Employment Professionals in October 2018, Trevor quickly rose through the ranks, fueled by his passion for connecting with local leaders and making a positive impact on the community. His exceptional performance led to numerous accolades for his team, including recognition as a Top 50 team for four consecutive years and achieving Gold level status within the organization. In the summer of 2021, Trevor transitioned into a management role, further solidifying his commitment to empowering businesses and families in the Central Texas market. As a Franchise Business Development Manager, Trevor's primary goal is to serve as a trusted HR resource for local businesses, helping them find the most qualified candidates across various sectors.
