Governor Abbott issued Executive Order GA-21 on May 5, which expanded openings of certain businesses and activities in the state. Effective May 8, Barber Shops, Cosmetology / Hair Salons, Nail Salons / Shops, Tanning Salons, and Parks, Beaches and Bodies of Water (including swimming pools) were allowed to open.

Operational update: Staff will wear masks at all times when in the salon. Staff are continuously disinfecting and sanitizing their hands, tools & implements, and all surfaces before, between, & during clients. Clear curtains have been hung between stations and at the front desk to act as protective barriers for guests & stylists. Clients only allowed in Salon at this time. Anyone not being serviced is asked to wait in their car or outside while maintaining social distancing practices. Upon entry to the salon, clients will be screened for symptoms of COVID-19 as well as have their temperature recorded using a no contact forehead thermometer. Clients will also be required to wash &/or sanitize their hands upon entry and sign into the salon as a way to acknowledge that they understand their current requirements & that they have stated to not have any symptoms or have been in contact with anyone who has or is suspected to have COVID-19. If you are experiencing any symptoms of COVID-19 or any illness, or have been in contact with someone sick, they ask that you stay home at this time. |
