Business, Community, & the November 4th Election

On Tuesday, November 4, 2025, Texans will have the opportunity to vote on 17 proposed amendments to the Texas Constitution. Decisions that could directly impact the future of our workforce, infrastructure, economic climate, and community well-being.

While these elections may not carry the visibility of federal races, the outcomes are no less significant. Many of the proposed amendments touch on issues critical to business operations, taxation, education, and long-term investment across our state. As a business-led and member-driven organization, the Temple Chamber of Commerce encourages active civic participation and informed decision-making.

Now is the time to:

• Make sure your voter registration is current or register to vote if you haven’t already.

• Review the proposed amendments and understand what a “yes” or “no” vote really means for you, your family, your business, and our community.

​In addition to statewide amendments, Bell County residents should take special notes of important local voting deadlines and resources:

• Last day to register or update your voter registration: Monday, October 6, 2025.
  
  
• Early voting period: Monday, October 20 to Friday, October 31, 2025.
  
  
• Apply for a ballot by mail: Deadline is Friday, October 24, 2025 (must be received, not postmarked).
  
  

Bell County’s Elections Department provides:

• Ballot sample previews by precinct so you can review exactly what you'll see on Election Day.
  
  
• Support for voters needing assistance, including language interpretation or physical help -- just notify poll workers when you arrive.
