Your Voice, Your Vote: Early Voting Is Underway

10/21/2025

Early Voting is happening now for the November 4, 2025 Election, and Central Texans have important decisions to make that will shape the future of our communities.

In addition to 17 proposed amendments to the Texas Constitution, voters in our region will also decide on school bond propositions for both Belton ISD and Temple ISD, critical measures that directly impact local education, infrastructure, and economic development.

These decisions influence more than classrooms or policies, they affect workforce readiness, quality of life, and the long-term strength of our business community.

Here’s how to stay informed and make your vote count:

1) Educate Yourself:
Review the 17 proposed constitutional amendments and local bond propositions before heading to the polls.

- 17 proposed Constitutional Amendments:
Texas Secretary of State at www.sos.texas.gov
            - Local Bond Propositions:

TISD – Letter from the PAC Chair
                Vote Yes for BISD Kids

2) Vote Early:
Early voting runs October 20–31, giving you the flexibility to cast your ballot ahead of Election Day and avoid long lines.

- Bell County Elections Department  www.bellcountytx.com/departments/elections

3) Engage Locally:
Encourage your employees, colleagues, and peers to vote. Informed civic participation strengthens the foundation for thriving businesses and vibrant communities.

The Temple Chamber of Commerce remains committed to promoting informed civic engagement. Thriving businesses depend on strong communities and strong communities depend on active, informed voters.

Make your plan to vote early, stay informed, and help shape the future of Temple, Belton, and Texas.

The Temple Chamber of Commerce officially unveiled SizeUp Temple, a powerful new online tool that gives local entrepreneurs and business owners access to the kind of data and insights once reserved for large corporations.

Now live on our website, SizeUp Temple helps businesses make smarter, data-driven decisions—whether you’re comparing your performance against competitors, identifying potential customers and suppliers, finding the best locations for expansion, or targeting your ideal audience.
“In today’s information economy, if you don’t have access to data, your business is at a disadvantage,” said Whitney Theriot, President & CEO of the Temple Chamber of Commerce. “With SizeUp Temple, we’re leveling the playing field for small businesses and empowering them to make data-driven decisions that strengthen our local economy.”
A big thank-you goes to J.R. Charles with SizeUp for joining us for an engaging live demonstration of this powerful tool. Attendees saw firsthand how local businesses can use SizeUp Temple to uncover opportunities, benchmark performance, and explore detailed market insights tailored to Temple and Bell County.

This resource is available free of charge through the Chamber’s Small Business Connect Initiative, supported by our sponsors: Extraco Banks, McLane Intelligent Solutions, City of Temple, McLane Company, and Meta

Celebrating Manufacturing in Temple: Willd Designs 3D Printing

10/20/2025

October is National Manufacturing Month, and the Temple Chamber of Commerce was proud to celebrate the grand opening of Willd Designs 3D Printing LLC, a veteran-owned 3D printing and manufacturing business founded by U.S. Army veteran Will Dalziel.

What began as Dalziel’s hobby with a small 3D printer has grown into a full-service additive manufacturing facility. Today, Willd Designs provides end-to-end solutions, from concept design and prototyping to 3D scanning, design engineering, and production. The teams also offers modeling and printer repair ensuring full support for inventors, entrepreneurs, and businesses bringing ideas to life.

The facility features advanced equipment, including a large-format printer capable of producing parts more than 3 feet wide, 3 feet deep, and over 5 feet tall, opening doors for everything from custom prototypes to replacement parts.

Dalziel’s nearly 14 years of military service instilled the discipline, integrity, and commitment to service that now guide his work. His mission is simple: to pair precision with passion and ensure every client’s experience is exceptional.

As Temple celebrates National Manufacturing Month, Willd Designs stands as a prime example of local innovation and excellence that drive the region’s economy. Where a veteran’s vision, technical skill, and entrepreneurial spirit intersected came a new business bringing advanced technology to Temple’s manufacturing base and helping shape the region’s future.
